My Pastor is looking to send several of us women from the Church. It is 3 overnights and I am petrified of leaving my husband and kiddos for that long but I am thinking that if I don't go then I will miss out on a great spiritual adventure.
If I don't go then the enemy will win.
Has anyone been? What did you think of it?

What is the real reason you would like to go? Is it because your pastor tells you to, or because you really don't want to miss out a great spiritual adventure?
I have not heard about this 'Tres Dias' weekend before, but I believe this is very similar to retreats in other Christian / Catholic churches which aims to improve your life by getting to know more about your religion and putting objectives back into your life.
If that is the case, then this three overnights separation from your husband and kiddos will only be a temporary sacrifice. In the end they too will benefit from the new you (the Fourth Day?) whom will maybe be a better wife, mother, person, and Christian.
Don't think of it as 'if I don't go the enemy will win', think of it as 'if I don't go I won't be a better person', and ponder more on the benefits of yourself, your family and of course your Church, if you go. Or don't. It's YOUR choice, sister. God Bless..

I really think you should GO!! Following Christ means going where he ask us too. When Jesus called his disciples they did not hesitate or had fear of the unknown. Jesus called and they gave the first step toward the things of the Lord. This is your turn to turn the world upside down. I think your family will be greatly blessed.

each and every faith seeks out God, or tries, yet there is in elementary terms one reality. each and every denomination seeks God out, yet we see partly and don't have all of it until The Lord returns. For we could launch self with a view to discover the certainty and enable God rework us, and not what guy says. Time is in hand for God to come again forth and instruct us what genuine love is. wait and notice, it somewhat is coming! John The Baptist became of God, yet John became yet a forerunner, he became section and not the full ingredient.

It'll be a good chance for the kidos and the hubby to bond. I'm sure it will be great for you, also. I think you should go and have a great time!
Does your hubby know how to cook. If not, pizza and soda all around.
