Well, let's just say that I bought one new and traded it seven months later. Heavy, lumbering vehicle. It runs fine but is definitely not the quickest. I had an SE (which has the 6 speed manual) and I was quickly annoyed at the fact that driving it at 750-75 put my rpms at about 3500-3600, sounded like the hamsters in the engine were choking.

2003 Tiburons have had numerous transmission problems and a class action lawsuit is now in effect. The company claims that only the 03's are potentially affected but my 05 had tranny problems from the beginning. The dealer told me I needed to learn how to drive a stick shift (funny since I have now owned 6 cars with manual and this is the only one to ever give me problems). Corporate office backed them up, stating that the dealership reported that I hot rodded the car and dragged the clutch all the time, which I clearly never did.

All in all, don't waste your money. 3 Hyundais and I will never buy another one.
