Twatwaffle, awesome name. How is a rainbow made, how does the posi-traction work on a 72 Plymouth? It just does... As an extremely boring white guy, I can only say that being in a black church look a lot more fun than the jail I had to go to as a kid. Maybe I'll go back and just break it down in the middle of a service. I'm talkin clapping, dancing, yellin as the spirit moves me - that would be great. Imagine the looks I'd get.

Thank you for the wonderful example of prejudice. All black people sing and dance in church. All white people are boring.

Just how many 'black churches' have you been to, or are you basing your distortion of the facts on a movie you've seen, and then applying it to the entire race? Perhaps you saw "Blues Brothers"?

For your information, not all black people sing and dance in church. In fact *gasp* not all black people go to church.

And I won't even try to discuss your remark that all whites and not just 'boring' but 'sooooooooooo boring' because I'm getting bored with you and your question.

I agree with you that black people are more liberated in church enviroments. Unfortunalty the white church population is usually made up of an older generation group who are stuck in their hymn book ways. This is not a good view as it is not the only truth. Christianity is not a geriatric religion, there is a rising up of teens and young adults all over the world who are extremely motivated for their church and have a whole new range of modern style music which is being introduced into churches. Find a vchurch aimed at a younger age group, you might enjoy it.

That has nothing to do with their faith, or that they are better or funnier... Worship comes from the hearts... And only God knows their heart... I suggest... Do not do things to make the people happy, do things to make God happy... King David probably was white and he used to dance and sing almost naked in his Kingdom... that is where the idea of dancing and singing came from... I hope this help... Before i close this, what will you think if the white people prays and sing by their selves all the time (which is worshiping God in the way He wants) and black people do not... will that make them better? I wish you the best...

A lot of it goes back to tribal African ceremonies....some Black churches have singing and dancing because it was the only way they could express themselves during slavery. A lot of the things that go on in the Black church stems from this time. Such as putting on your best clothes and most elaborate hats....it was the one time the could express themselves.

All white churches aren't boring. LOL

properly to be honest each way of existence imitates one yet another... to say reproduction is incorrect... so a ways as soulful making a music is in ordinary words through the African human beings is thoroughly incorrect.. What about the Irish, Italian, Russians, and multiple extra.... And as for the clothing.. kinds of clothing repeats itself through out heritage... As for a type of song back contained in the day they'd Southern Rock as contained in the Allman brothers,Lynard Skynard, and others now united states of america immediately sounds like southern rock back then.. It also would not ought to do with Jealousy. Who ever gave that answer is clearly an wide minded bigamist... now to not teach thoroughly stupid....

Not all Black people sing and dance in Church. I know plenty of Black Catholics, Methodists and Episcopalians who don't.

I was raised in a Pentecostal church where they did dance and sing, and I personally didn't like it. The bible says, "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord", and I thought they took that TOO literally.

But to each his/her own. I prefer quite services.

Why people are getting offended at this question? Everybody knows that black people have soul and flava and they like to apply it to every thing in their lives. If it weren't for them, the rhythm of life wouldn't be the same. Pretty boring.

God bless the black folk.

African American's derive their singing and dancing methods of praising God from the slavery times. It was a part of out culture that has only further developed and grown into what we do best (look at the entertainment world, hip hop and what not)

I can't explain the white people thing though.
But a white friend is telling me that white people are more conservative, quiet, and keep their worship within them!

I hope this helps!
