i had gotten my kitten this toy that has a long piece of fleece on a stick that makes bird noises...he loved it until lastnight, anytime he even sees or hears it he'll run and hid and act all skidish, he's afraid of it now! what happened?

I had one of those, you can take the thing off that makes the noise maybe it's the noise that scares her. you might want to put that toy away for a few weeks or so and then bring it out again and see if she likes it better that way.

I should go, in such a case, with a smaller toy for a while; hide that one, and re-introduce it later, when he is older and more confident. Perhaps somebody dropped the toy and it made a loud noise, or something... Perhaps taking of the sound-making thingie may also help.

Perhaps your kitty thinks it whipped him. :)
Put some kittly nip on it.. youre kitten will fall back in love with it, likes its been missing it in his life since he was born :)
