Your sinuses are draining into your stomach while you sleep. It can make you naseous, and works as a laxative. Take sinus medication before bed.

My daughter is 16 and has a mild case of this. to avoid it, she takes Bonamine (motion sickness med) and some yogurt. The best foods to avoid, are foods that contain citric acid and spicy seasonings.
Take Care & Good Luck

Yes it can, but sounds more like an enterovirus. Probably you will feel better in 48 hours, better yet in 72. Drink plenty of fluids to replace those you lost. Try and keep down some juice to replace the potassium you lost when vomiting. Stay home from workplace to not spread it.

Yes what you describe sounds like an allergy. Probably a LOT of mucous has drained from your sinuses to your stomach. It can make your stomach very upset. Did you try taking an anti-histamine? It might help.

You may have food poisoning or the flu on top of a sinus cold/infection.

Allergies don't "settle" in the stomach, you may just be allergic or sensitive to certain foods or seasonings.

It could be a number of things. Maybe a virus and something you ate.
