I asked a series of questions about the materialistic lives of some of America's biggest preachers. I got a very negative response from some fans of multimillionaire televangelists. I used reputable links from news sites, and other christian sites to make my point.

For example, Jerry Falwell recieving 3.5 million from Rev. Moon-who claims he's the real messiah. And Benny Hinn and Joyce Meyer's very, very rich lives-combined they own 9 MANSIONS! Or Jesse Duplantis buying a 18 million dollar jet-while his city was underwater from Katrina. And his ministry was claiming near poverty to help his neighbors.

Of course love of material goods, and riches is forbidden in the bible. The bible says money is the root of all evil, and don't store up your treasures on earth. These preachers do some good, but don't live as bondervants of Christ. I'm a Christian, and believe in the Lord...and the bible.

To make people happy my question is....WHO'S YOUR FAVORITE MULTIMILLIONAIRE TELEVANGELIST

Well...I guess you probably already know this but...

I have no favorite multimillionare televangelist, just as much as I do not trust any priest, imam or any so called man of cloth who amasses fortunes when their followers have so much less... this is the high point of hypocrisy and greed.

Well like I always say you can never please anybody 100% of the time...guess this time it's the turn of the anti-televangelists...

How much money have Jesse Duplantis ministries, Joyce Meyer Ministries, Kenneth Copeland Ministries, just to name three, put into Katrina relief, orphanages, prison ministries, etc etc etc. MILLIONS!

Jesse had his plane long before Katrina struck and has done much to help in relief - contact his organisation.

The Bible says that the LOVE OF money is the root of all evil, not money itself. If I have bearly enough to live on, how can I give when I see need? It is only when I have a surplus that I can give, otherwise my family goes without. I can give sacrifically if I am single but as I am married with three dependant children and can't give at their expense.

Love of material things is not fordidden in the bible. Actually the opposite is the case. "Good measure peressed down, shaken together and running over" does not seem like "thou shall not" to me.

Don't envy them. Give to God and see His blessings on your giving. You will prosper too.

Remember, if you think they are in the rong, pray for them. Listen to their messages There is much truth in them.

I have not yet seen the Tv Evangelist that does not have a con game going. Their god is made of green paper and plastic bank-cards.

I am not mocking all of the Tv Evangelists (haven't seen them all) but so far the vast majority of them seem to be ubber wealthy and make a gospel of attaining material wealth as if somehow, gain is Godliness despite the Bible saying otherwise.

Rev. Robert Tilton is my favorite because he is the most outrageously greedy. Religion is the ultimate con. It is government protected, tax free and the product they sell doesn't have to be delivered until you reach a place that doesn't exist. Little wonder so many people jump on this fraud wagon.

Can't we crucify them all on pay per view and with the proceeds give the money back to all the people they bilked.

Anyone that defended them is a brainwashed ********!

Stick to your guns ( opinions ) its refreshing!
