If you've gotten past puberty, you should know that your feelings are not a reliable guide.
Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
That's why we need to go by an objective, unchanging standard: the Bible.

I would estimate about 10 per cent. Have you ever awoke in the morning and not felt like going to work? Surely the event in which a decision was to be made would influence your feelings, but important decisions should not depend in the most part, how we feel emotionally about the event.

Depends what the decision is about. Sometimes you should make emotional decisions and sometimes intellectual and logical ones. Some times we need to make a quick decision and use what is called our "gut" feelings and that can be as sharp as any calculated decision process. So, depending on what it involves...use either. Its a good idea if you have the self awareness to know when you are making emotional decisions and give yourself time to think about it before acting on it.
Feelings are pretty important guides, especially when combined with your logical and sensible side. Trust yourself and remember, decision making wisdom is earned by making both right and wrong decisions... and learning from them.

Depends on the situation. Sometimes when people get emotional the decisions they make tend to be quick & not well thought out. Although, on the other hand if you feel like something is not right---you should act upon that feeling, and back out the situation or analyze things from another perspective.

Not much, it depends on who you are and the angles from which you approach things.I have come to understand that all feelings/emotions are one meaning anger, happiness, sadness, love etc are all the same. It is the processess that happen in your mind, what you perceive that event to be which determines what you feel. Ok I have read it in a book but I have also proved it to myself. I find that once I put things into perspective my feelings become stabilised and then I am able to handle situations in a much more controlled way. I do slip up on the odd occasion but I know it works(for me anyway).

Decisions should be made on logic mostly, and feelings a little.
Unless you have a gut feeling that something bad will happen if you do this or that, say like getting married.

Well, feelings must be useful to our survival otherwise as a race we wouldn't still have them. So that being the case feeling good about something is good for us and feeling bad about something is bad for us.
Pure logic is problem solving but heartless and doesn't take into account morality or feelings.
Pure emotion is passionate but illogical leading to crimes of passion and lots of drama.
Ideally we want a balanced combination of the two. To ignore our feelings completely is to ignore ourselves and to give in to them entirely is Self-centred egotistical and destructive.
Our feelings are our guides and our logic tells us how best to deal with the situation. Balance as ever is the key.

Do you mean 'should' or 'do'? We probably should be more objective when making decisions i.e. not let our hearts rule our heads. What we do is different. I don't believe anyone, male or female makes cold, calculated decisions. There is always a certain amount of subjectivity involved.
