Are you talking about "snail mail"? Check the site below for a long list of suggestions on how to stop many of the different kinds of junk mail you may be receiving at your home.

If you search on "stop junk mail" you will find many other sites that offer other information as well. Just beware -- there are sites that will attempt to SELL you this service or SELL you the requirement of being on their list to be taken OFF of the junk mail list!! LOL!! Don't fall for this sucker play, please.

Hope this stops your problem.

Of course, if you are worried about electronic junk mail, you need to become familiar with the spam and filter settings of your email provider and set them accordingly. Check your help section for that -- it should be pretty clear.

Good luck!!

I really don't recommend changing your email addy or even the spam guard. Changing, it will only catch up to your sooner or later. Spam guard will eventually give also.

What I've found to be a bit effective is to reply to the spam in the unsubscribe line. I do about 5 to 10 a day. It's a never ending story like shoveling snow in a blizzard. Good Luck!

http://www.spamcop.com helped me
use it as a reporting service (that's what i do..it hasn't stopped my spam but it has really reduced it.

also if you post your email Addy on websites/forums do it like this
ghos_t@no-spam.yahoo.com
most people will know to take out the "no-spam" part but the bots that searches for the email Addys wont and the spammers wont take the time to go through thousands of addys their bots finds and remove it. so it will really cut down on spam try it.

sign up for a junk mail thingy that takes your address off lists. I put out a big box labeled junk mail, the mailguy puts it in there for me.

Change your email address and do not give it to anyone except people that you can trust. Use one email address for signing up for special offers and getting information online and get another one for the purpose of important mail.

Report the spam messages, enable spam guard protection (like spam filters).

Stop giving your email ad to anyone in the net. Have an email add for private use only.
