What is your favorite? Why?

I like Life of Brian and Dogma, but the Oh, God! movies are fun, too.

Life of Brian is one of my favorites- but I like these one liners-

God -
"Don't make me come down there"

"You think it's hot here?"

"Have you read my #1 seller? There will be a test"

"Will the road you're on get you to my place?"

"Keep using my name in vain, I'll make rush hour longer"

The Life of Brian tops my list.

The first time I watched it I actually fell off my chair laughing and was in pretty severe pain. It's kooky, it pokes fun at so many assumptions and stereotypes, and it is just good old fashioned fun. Favorite scene: probably the one where John Cleese gets stoned or the (I KNOW it's childish) Biggus Dickus scene.

The TV series Father Ted is absolutely hilarious too and always has me in stitches and would come in second. The caricatures are great, and the writing is just spot on. It's probably my favorite TV comedy series, period.

I'd go with Life of Brian and History of the World, Part One.
Wholly Moses had its moments, too, but was pretty lame (relatively speaking).
Also, let's not forget South Park...

Dogma is my favorite. It dares to question accepted notions of religious belief. Hooray for the platypus!

Oh,God, with John Denver and George Burns. This is an older movie, but very funny.

Mel Gibson's snuff movie, "Passion of the Christ" was very funny, but "Life of Brian" takes the clever award.
