It could be the dog simply likes the pig. I used to have a dog that carried our cat every where he went. The dog couldn't bare to be without the cat.

As another person answered you dog has to be a retriever breed. Hunters refer to them as being "soft mouthed". They hold rather than bite

My dog (b1tch) used do do this with my kitten. She was mothering/protecting it.
I could guarantee to see her bombing upstairs with the kitten in her mouth any time I switched the evil hoover on

he could be scaring the guinea pig so keep an eye on it .my friend had a hamster and dog and they got on was fun to watch my dog played with my mice once i found them dead he broke into their cage and got them.

he is either trying to play or trying to retrieve. Our dog brings me the kittens unharmed and then looks for praise (lab-hunting dog that has never hunted)
