Does your 4yo son have a tatt?
Has he started hanging around in bars with his Fatboy parked out front?
Does he give police the finger and refuse to pull over?
Has he been coming home late at night smelling of booze and then goes to sleep on the lounge and in the morning cant remember what he did the night before?
Does he suddenly seem to have a lot of extra cash and does he get phone calls late at night from people who sound edgy?
Hmm...I'd watch him if I were you.

Leviticus19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the (DEAD) nor print any marks upon you. I am the Lord. now to answer your question, first we have to look at the scriptures in the correct way, This verse is talking about the Dead, I myself don't like a tattoo, & you said your son does not have any, To answer your question, No he is not going to hell because of him writing on himself. Even if it was a tatoo, anyone that has a tattoo can still be saved. I personally don't believe in having a tatoo, but I know people that had tattoo themselves while they was a sinner & today they are living for God, They can not erase what they did before they repented, But the ones I know will not put another tattoo on their bodies now. So, No your son is not going to hell because of what he is doing.

Honestly people, do you really think that God the Almighty would send a 4 year old child to hell? Besides there is no "hell." They only tell you that to control you. Fear is the only thing that man knew he could throw into the bible to control everyone.
The God I know is all about loving each other and taking responsibility for what we do, think, and how we treat each other.
There are so many contradictions in the bible, it is not even funny. I studied it for almost 20 years, and every time I would have bible study with a new group, here would come another whole set of what the scriptures meant. It got so insane. Yes, people they were all non denominational churches.
Let's just learn to love each other and take care of each other and stop all of this hatred and concern about "hell."
God Bless each of you!!!

Look - Jesus is a forgiving God. Tattoo or not - crayons or whatever - heck - he's a kid for heaven's sake. Let him be. As for adults with tattoos - I don't think you're going to hell for having marks on your skin - The Lord prefers what's etched in your heart. Okay?

God judges you based on your own understanding and your heart, what you do with the gifts you have been given. No - your four year old will not go to hell.
My daughter does the same thing- she once painted her lips with a permanent marker for "lipstick" at three years old- It was really embarrassing because it didn't come off for a couple of days lol :)
All the best- Enjoy your little ones creativity

Leviticus 19:28 simply gives us a rule for daily living. It does not discuss salvation or damnation.
Besides, such things are prohibited by the Old Testament only, and not the New.
But some other behaviors -- such as homosexuality -- are prohibited by BOTH the Old and the New Testaments.

Not really! Our God is just and faithful and reads the mind. He knows what circumstances and state of mind your boy was in when the prints were made. If he repents then God will definitely forgive Him that. Its just like other sins we commit. If they were to leave any marks on us then we would all be condemned. But there is no more condemnation in Christ but the Holy Spirit convicts us and shows us our sins. If we listen and repent then we are forgiven.

I believe that this refers to certain types of cuttings or markings that signified the worship of idols, but I can't document that. The important thing, as far as I'm concerned is what someone else here said. Any particular sin is not going to send your son or anyone else to hell. The only sin that can do that is rejecting Jesus free gift of salvation. And to answer another question asked in one of the answers, it's true that our sins are paid for and that if we are forgiven we are not going to go to hell. Obedience is not because we're afraid of hell. It's because we love our Savior and WANT to please Him.
Romans 6:1-2 1 What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?

No. As a rule, the Old Testament is not strictly adhered to in these modern times. Most religions hold that the New Testament sort of cancelled out a lot of that stuff.

One should not put lables on themselves, nor wear lables. No, your son is not going to hell. This is a Christian Doctorain that comes from the Greek philosophers who wrote the New Testament. It is purely cultural and was meant for the people in those times so they would not become slaves to Roman ( Capitalist ) ways.I have a tattoo of a butterfly on my shoulder. Because butterflies are free and hurt no-one.
