If you are a teenager, you definitely need more than 7 hours of sleep at night. More like 9 hours. Try keeping crackers at your bedside and eat a couple after you wake up in the morning but before you get out of bed. They can calm your stomach and prevent nausea.

Maybe it's a mental thing. Like an anxiety issue.
Do you enjoy school? Do you feel a lot of pressure or have problems with certain students there?
It could be just knowing that you have to face the negativity there that causes the nausea.
Especially since you say on the weekends you feel fine.
I guess it could be the amount of sleep you're getting, although I've never heard of that personally.
A good way to test it would be to try waking up at 5 on the weekend.
Then you'll know if it's an anxiety thing, or a sleep thing.

hey there, i think that u are certainly getting enough sleep. you are getting at least 7 hours, which is the accurate time period that you should sleep for. to me the most likely reasoning is that you perhaps dreading the day ahead of you. you know that you have to face someone, or something, or do a particular thing that you are not keen on, and this could make you feel nauseous. also is you wake up too fast, the blood rushes to yr head making you unstable and therefore nauseous. try jus laying for half a minute in bed, and then waking up slowly. have a drink of water ready, drink it slowly tho. and think positively about all the good things that you are going to encounter in your day, if you sense that you do not like waking up in fear of a bad day. focus on all you have to be grateful for. im sure you will feel better soon. take care of yourself

It very well could be that you are not getting enough sleep. I used to be like that too, the earlier I would get up the sicker I would feel. And, if I stayed up all night I felt terrible for 2 days. The doctor told me that I just had a nervous stomach and anytime I changed my routine my stomach let me know.

My oldest son was the same way when he was in school. He would get sick every day at school and want to come home. We kept a bottle of stomach medicine at the school and they would give him that if he complained and that usually took care of it. Then in 5th grade, his teacher would just tell him to hang on for awhile and see if he started feeling better and after that we never had any problems again. You might want to talk to your doc about the problem and see what he/she thinks. Maybve you need to keep a journal and write down your feelings every day and you might come across the answer on your own

I got kinda gaggy here & there, found out it was the artificial sweetener in diet soda. Aspartame is in a lot of stuff, its poisonous and addictive. It's in diet coke and everything else. Also known as acesulfide-k or acesulfide-potassium.

Some docs will call it allergies, some will come out & say aspartame isn't safe. Either way stay away from it and it'll go away.

Yes lack of sleep, especially lack of REM sleep could be the problem. Do you fall asleep by then? A comfortable sleep? It could also be psychological in that you don't enjoy school and therefore do not want to or feel comfortable getting up.

That shouldn't make you feel nauseus. Sounds pretty basic but are you pregnant? Try going to bed earlier anyway, the right amount of sleep never hurt anyone.

if you have to be up so early to go to school , there must be a reason -- mum /and or dad need to go to work early so you've got to be up as well . do look after siblings before going to school ?? because I'm wondering whether or not your anxious or indeed apprehensive , about their welfare before your own . sleeping in on the weekend is probably your wind down , but it doesn't necessarily solve your sleeping problems . i think there's more to it and you need to talk to someone.
