Thats a very old movie.And probably could only say what i would do if presented with that situation.I myself would rather both children survive and i would take their place.Good luck God bless:O)

Yes, I saw it a long time ago. I am not sure if I could have let go of my childs hand, but it was probably for the best.

The kid was odviously evil. Why should she keep him around and let a good child leave the earth? She was saving humanity.
