the salvos are in my opinion one of the most respected charities that i would not hesitate donating , they've helped helped a lot my friends who have been down on their luck , and i still see people queueing up at their door for a food voucher , some don't deserve this and indeed abuse the system but the salvos never question these people , that not their forte. if you ever have the misfortune of being destitute you will look no further than the salvation army --- after all that's what their name stands for ---- salvation !!!

I used to contribute until I realized that the church behind them is the church that George Bush attends. The Salvation Army supports George Bush! They can take a long leap off a short dock!

I think they are a good group. They help a lot of families especially at christmas.

they make me uneasy. It is about time secular groups with no ulterior motives became the main charity and help organisations

I think they help people,but they need to keep their prices in stores cheaper.

I tend to give to others before them. My Father didn't like them, but I never understood why.

I am sure they do SOME good, but they are not a charity I would give to.
