Cheating is always wrong but I went to Gulf War and I had to take care of me first. Remember that your significant other will not care where u cheated at so dont let anyone know at home.

Cheating is wrong period. It doesn't matter if is during a war or whenever. That is why I think that being a soldier is for single man or woman. It isn't for the family man or a wife because things like cheating occurs quite often. Don't get me wrong a lot of husbands and wives make it work. BUT when a soldier (that is in a relationship/marriage) goes off to war they should know what they are sacrificing. Leaving their families behind to fight a battle knowing they might not come home. When you are at war their wives/husbands are not there to cook, clean or pleasure you. They can't be there to spend time with you. It is even more of a sacrifice when a child/ren are involved. These are the sacrifices that a military man/woman makes so they shouldn't cheat. You can't have your cake and eat too.

I understand that there are many that are married or have girlfriends at home and when they are sent to war they do the unspeakable where they would never have thought of doing before. Is this wrong? I truly believe that it is. War does change a person, but I think this should be fought. You should try to keep some part of you the same as when you left as you return home. Otherwise, how can you look lovingly into your wife's eyes without feeling guilty or having the urge to continue looking else where?

I cannot believe you would have to ask this question? This is another example of the shame we possess in flushing our morals and values down the toilet. When you choose to love someone it is suppose to be unconditional. Sex is not the pillar of a relationship. If a relationship is based on sex, the relationship is cheap, shallow, and one or both parties do not have any heart or soul. I am a man. Whenever I was away from my loved one, she was still next to me in all my thoughts and feelings. In saying this, it goes to prove that the word love is NOT understood and used too loosely. Do you even know what love is? It saddens me to see so many that abuse the meaning of this word. Especially while I endure without it. If you do not have a soul, you cannot ever give love, not can you ever receive love. If cheating is the answer that anyone chooses to use, they only help in degrading the meaning of the greatest force known and one only proves to themselves that they do not have a heart, any knowledge of what a heart is for, and they certainly do not have love.

Either learn self control or satisfy yourself. Normally I wouldn't recommend masturbation but a lot of people are very weak in this area - they just have to do it because "it is a way of life." I disagree but that a whole different story. Point is, if you want to do something wrong, at least try the alternative before you cheat on someone. Stop blaming your circumstances for your actions.

Cheating is cheating. If you can't keep it on your pants, then accept the consequences of your actions. Thousands or miles or a bad situation like yours does not excuse infidelity. Also, may your conscience be your guide. If your conscience doesn't bother you after you cheat, why the hell are you married in the first place?

Most people might as well be 1 million miles away from the war. It doesn't concern them day to day. It's sad that wars must be fought. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Soldiers do what they must to stay strong and survive.

Would it be right if it was a time of peace? If you wanna do things don't make up excuses for them, just do them and feel if you feel good or guilty because of it. If you keep feeling good about the things you do then get rid of the circumstances that make you feel guilty. If you keep feeling guilty on the other hand, stop doing that thing! It's that simple really!
