Do you call on an occasion? Or do you just do with the "I was really bored and decided to call" kinda thing? I usually talk alot to her through e-mail and chat? I'm in a boarding school...so I can't really meet up with her. HELP!!!

dont make it look like u were bored to death and so u called.. show u r interested.. call just to say hi and see how she is doin.. just for small talk.. she isnt goin to ask - y r u calling? .. no need to wait for an occasion.. u can make a mental list of things u might wanna discuss like whtevr.. coz that time u might get tongue tied.. or nervous...

In my case, I usually use text messaging, and if its difficult for each other to understand what is being said, I call.
If its something urgent then I'll call the other person straight.
Best you get a free VoIP client for your PC, like Skype, and when you 2 are online, just ring the other person and remain connected in the call so that you may talk anytime (without worrying about call charges)

don't tell her you called becuase you were bored. just tell her that you wanted to chat up with her and beforehand make a list of topics you might want to talk to her about so you are not tongue tied. maybe music, movies...
