Being possessive is all about insecurity.
Sometimes being jealous is normal as long as it doesn't cause a fight or something.. heck.. at Church last week a girl as talking to my husband and she was close, i felt a little jealous but blew it off. He is MY husband and we have that secure level of trust.
Trying to keep someone home when they want to go out or telling them what to wear is just not OK and not a sign of true love. People are human and need their space when they ask for it...

well if your a boy that looks like just the average joe.and your girlfriend looks like the top model in the world he has the right to be possesive.

sometimes their not really possessive they are just territorial so in other words protecting what is theirs. I am not jealous possessive over my guy, eg: a girl can look once and enjoy the view, but staring at my man until her eyeballs fall out will fire up a totally different emotion in me. It depend on the partner whether he, or she is feeling smothered.

Bcoz according to their own attitude they can guess about other boyz. They cant stop other boyz so they get possesive to girlz.
