Never hurts to tell the truth and ask forgiveness. It may not be great for the relationship and it may work out and it may not but it'll take the weight of your shoulders. Get it all out in the open and stop hiding behind that something. Ask God to help you.

He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Proverbs 28:13

Me, 'n my Cajun gal, we goes to Church evry year!

We know we is living in sin, cuz we got no license from the gov'mint.

But, we is happy, and 'cept fer some miner violating of the fish an game rulez, we good peeples. We gots to eat!

Since the Road Kill rules changed, we been eatin' a bit better, as we scout the big old hiway evry day! Turtle is good! Cept fer that
softshell one, what smells like a outhouse sewar!

All we can say is we shur wish catfish cud walk! Imagine walkin' on the big ole hiway an picking up yer dinner, without the fuss of baitin yer hook! Road kill fish! Yum, yum!

Try to avoid them channel cats, theys sometimes weigh over 300 pounds! Be like hittin a full growed deer!

So, we shucked any guilt, even if we do sometimes form a line wit' our neighbors, and beat on pots 'n pans, and drive the aminals onto the big ole hiway, so's theys get to be Road kill!

You agree? don't matter none too much, if'n you ain't hungry!

The way to overcome guilt is to seek a spiritual walk with God, and leave religion....Religion teaches guilt and it is a very harmful entity....As a health care professional, many people that I have observed in the psych ward are suffering from extreme guilt that pushes them over the edge.

a few things to be kept in mind..guilt is felt when u are sorry about somthing...its when u regret something that u have done..n in ur heart u know that it was wrong..ur first step is to make peace with the person wronged n then make peace with urself..forgiveness is a great gift..u can have n give...it dosnt need conditions..it only needs love..n acceptance.so guilt is not bad..it is a feeling when ur heart tells u that u have done something wrong n u need to correct it..contemplation plays an mportant role..u will get all ur answers thru contemplation..

Go face the truth and deal with it. if u offende some one, go tell them earnestly how sorry you are so they may 4give u. then follow this up with good deeds towards the person you have just made piece with. As simple as 123.

prayer, apathy, confess it to someone, apologize to the person that the wrong has been committed against, or (my all time fav) justify it in your mind as you didn't do anything wrong.
