The ONLY thing that makes you fat is eating too much of ANYTHING that has calories. It's really simple... you eat more calories than you burn, you get fat. Conversely, you eat fewer calories than you burn, you lose weight. Period. Doesn't matter what it is, if it has calories, then you can eat too much and get fat. Vegetables, on the other hand, have very few calories and you can usually eat all you want.

Just the opposite--crab meat, like other seafood, is low in fat. And if you're eating them in the shell, I'd say they would have negative calories, as much work as it is getting the meat out.

Its not a problem just dont eat it everyday crab is also a good source of protien eat in moderation and drink lots of water

Actually, crab is relatively low in calories.

It's the melted butter that gets you.
