There are very few homosexuals in Muslim countries because homosexuality is a sin. Man and woman are mates and that's how God intended it to be. Otherwise there would only be men or only women. Muslims cannot be homosexuals because it goes against our religion.
Women are slowly out numbering men worldwide and soon there will be hardly any men left for women. You can check the statistics and you will see this is true.

A shortage of women has never been the reason for homosexuality. A lot of Macho Arabs 'do' it to women & men without giving any thought that they might be 'gay,' as long as they are on top. And there is no shortage of women in Muslim Countries in almost all nations there is a balance between males & females. Peace.

That sounds like an urban legend to me, rather than a theory based on logic or fact. Think about it, do you think a shortage of available men would cause you to become a lesbian? Does one's sexuality really have anything to do with the availability of a gender? People are born with whatever sexuality they have, and it doesn't change and people cannot choose it. While people do have choices in their behaviors, they cannot dictate their sexual preference. So, a many might sleep with another man because there aren't any females around (maybe), but that doesn't make the man a homosexual. It doesn't make a man a homosexual to do that anymore than a gay man who sleeps with a woman suddenly becomes a heterosexual. It doesn't work that way.
Let me put to you a different way, with an analogy. Let's say pizza is your favorite food, or food of preference. Let's say lima beans is your least favorite food, or your least preferred food. In the absence of pizza, would you eat lima beans to survive? Sure you would. Does that mean that lima beans is your food of preference? Of course not. You still love pizza even though you cannot have it. Therefore, such behaviors are likely forced out of circumstance, not by one's choice.

You do know it is against Allah's desire to be homosexual? As it states so in the Qo'ran. It is also unlawful under Allah to engage in homosexual dreams or 'visions' as it says.
Thus, take into account, many modern day Muslims, or those that do not believe in the slaying of another individual's religion, that men are used for pleasure, and women, reproduction only.
By the way, there are many more men, than women in Muslim countries.

I'm not sure why you would think there is a shortage of women or why you would think that the ratio or single men to women has anything to do with homosexuality.

NO! To explain: There is absolutely no honest connection between unforced (ie natural) homosexuality and ANY religion. Let's be honest about that; it's not a DISEASE and it does not matter whether a religion forbids it or not. CHRISTIANITY forbids it, but we all know how ineffective that is, except for causing guilt and misery to perfectly normal people who just happen to be gay. Please don't confuse social mores with natural conditions of human beings; if there is a higher than average level of gay/lesbian behaviour in certain places due to a 'shortage of women' (or men), then much of it is aggressor versus victim, just as there seems to be a link (note: SEEMS to be) between child molestation and the Catholic priesthood, who are forbidden marriage.

not sure...but I do know that in certain parts of the world, married women are put up for rent by their husbands to other men because there's a shortage of women for marriage.

My husband returned from Iraq recently and he saw a lot of homosexuality over there, he has pictures of men holding hands walking down a street, they caught two men in a truck on the side of a road doing dirty things, and worst of all witnessed two men and donkey (i won't go into details on that one). He was on checkpoint security and night patrols with the Army and patrolled the small villages and main roads all over Iraq. Whatever it says in their bible about being a sin must not be taken too seriously because apparently it is not uncommon over there.
