I don't know, I think a judge would find a charge like that hard to swallow. The charge is a formality. Usually you get off with just a spank & the whole thing blows over in no time.

Swollen goods? not very swollen goods. Yes, they can arrest us on the ground of suspicion. IT is the Judge who does the charging not the police.

"Swollen" goods? Did somebody punch them up till they were bruised and sore, and swollen?
Receiving stolen goods? Yes, of course!
If some punk friend gives his buddy a box full of I Pods and the recipient doesn't ask where they came from and the police find the recipient with them.....well he's in possession of stolen goods!
And of course BOTH guys are in trouble. Big trouble.
And if the recipient pleads ignorance, that plea of ignorance is usually quite laughable in a court of law.

These days they will try to "charge" you for ANYTHING, got to make that ticket quota ya know!
Did you see in the news where in Stow, Ohio they are charging folks for filing paperwork, use of officers time AND use of the car when an officer shows up at the scene of an accident! ?
Best keep it under cover

It all depends on how large your goods have swollen to. you should get a doctor to have a look at them.

I think it depends on whether any payment was exchanged for these "swollen goods."
