I don't think so. The maximum age used to be 34. That may have changed, though, due to the increased need for military forces. I'd call a recruiting office to ask.

You must be no older tha 41 years 364 days on the day you enter basic training to join the US Army. You current citizenship will not be relevant unless you are from a country listed as a supporter of terrorism. See an Army recruiter.

If you are a US Citizen, or a Permanent Alien Resident, then you are eligible to join the US Armed Forces. The Army recently raised it's age limit to 42 years of age.
Check with your local recruiter.

Hmm, it is doubtful. Usually when you enter a country's military it makes you unable to join another, due to mixed interests between the countries.
Even when abroad from your original country, you might be enlisted in their reserve... especially if you were an officer, which case you might be in the reserve until you turn 65.
Joining then the military of another country might be considered as treason in your original country.
You might be able to join the volunteer guntoting looneys... what were they called? Regional Troops or something? They were some sort of regional militia.

they just recently raised the age to enlist to 42. As for being from another country, I'm not sure. I do know that you you are required by law to register for the draft if you live here even if you're from another country (there are a few exemptions), so I don't see why you couldn't enlist.

I believe the age limit is 42 with prior military service. I am not sure if foreign service counts.
