Mice probably feed more animals than any other animal - - - they are McMeals for wild cats, domestic cats, dogs, wolves, coyotes, ferrets & mongooses, snakes, - - - Mice are a vital part of the food chain!! Try 'em with hot mustard and soy sauce - - yum.

Mice keep predators alive when their normal food sorces dwindle. Wolves and raptors both eat mice in thin seasons. I imagine most predators do when the sick and old of their usual fare run dry.
