In my opinion, a good and just husband would be one who cared deeply for his wife and treated her as an equal. He would respect her opinion and would be of help to her as she found her way in the world.

Respect and adoration. Really. The wife is going to have to live with this man for the rest of her life. How bad would it be if the one person who was supposed to be devoted to her didn't respect and adore her. In return, she'll be completely devoted to her husband and respect and adore him.

what is expected? hmm.....

to be honest, caring, affectionate, and Show Appreciation.

usually a woman will do everything for the man she loves. everything. take care of him. think of him. buy things for him. want to do things for him. everything, 24/7. as long as a man appreciates that, and Shows his appreciation by thanking her, loving her, any way he can, she will be satisfied. even if he doesnt' buy gifts, she will be satisfied!! *but*, if u treat her badly, disrespect her, don't give her time or affection or any type of appreciation, AND don't buy her gifts, there is nothing left for her to feel appreciated. she will fill used, sad, and lonely. =T

so my advice to u , would be to learn what your wife needs in order to Feel appreciated, and do it. whether it means telling her once in awhile, buying her little gifts (even if it's $5, or a card saying "i love you"), or holding ur toungue when u get annoyed, or trying not to take your anger and stress from work out on her..... those things will be appreciated by her, and she will be able to continue her job of taking care and loving you the way she WANTS to do.
