Good grief. How in the world could it be a good thing? Of course, it's not. It's mutilation... pure and simple. Only sicko's would do such a thing.

This isnt a Muslim practice (in as far as I am aware). I think it is sad and causes all manner of problems for these poor women. i think the ideas is that they dont enjoy sex. Any form of genital mutilation is bad. however, research is finding that circumcised males are less likely to contract HIV if they do not use a condom. Interestign huh?

This is not an Islamic practice. This is a stupid tradition amongst certain groups. Nowhere in the Quran does it state that a woman has to be circumcised.
Personally I feel this is mutilation.

female circumcision happens usuly in the rurar aeras where people are ignorant and try to stick to their traditions, so they think doing this is protecting their daughters...but this habit was practicing by muslim and none muslims but what i know now that it has been decreased these days...it doesnt related by islamic relegion...the islamic relegion refuses it...

Absolutely not!! There is no medical or other compelling justification for this practice which is barbaric and demeaning.
In my mind it's just another way of demonstrating male dominance over women, and perpetrating the mis-guided "female as second class" theory.

i have heard that it is just mutilation.i think they just want to make it scary. like some guys gonna get some till he looks down and sees what could possibly happen to himself.
what do they do to their pets?
i was taught to love them thangs . take care of em. giveem butterflykisses.

Circumsicion is for everyone, men and women. I believe jews circumcise too.
Some hold that it is sunnah. others believe it is mandatory. Its can be found in hadeeth not quran.

well i dont think since generations any women from all countries i have been ever practised that. but ya men sure do -- be it jews or muslims and it is also for christians but they dont folow it.
things like female circumcision comes from people who like to experiment -- like those who dont mind piercing their c*its, eyebrows, tongues or navel. this idea was taken from those who prefer bondage and submission when .............. u know who do that right.
the idea originated from those who dont mind doing tummy tuck or brest reduction/reconstruction/etc. u know who ......... dont u?

No doubt...it's a good practice. Genitalia is to keep the system clean and help you to maintain cleanliness.
