No - you're just being facetious. There's some gorgeous food and restaurants up here. Traditionally, I suppose you'd say haggis, but there's a wealth of local game and seafood which makes Scottish fine dining some of the best in the UK. There's fabulous vegetables and fruit, too, along with the best whisky in the world, and some really good beers. Just have a look at the Farmer's Market on a Saturday morning on Castle Terrace in Edinburgh!

No, these delicacies are usually put on offer for the tourists who believe in the Loch Ness monster. You must try one though. Try a good desert wine with it. I suggest a half bottle of Sauternes from 1999. Just look for what you can find in the supermarket with this name.
You might find that a whole half bottle of wine is too much for one person.

it's not our idea of a fine meal but you can get deep fried mars (or probably any other chocolate bar of your choice) bars in the chippy where i live. i have never tried one before though...
