Yeh, an ex-boyfriend beat me up and straddled my chest while strangling me. We were both drunk. I remember laying there, right before I blacked out, looking up at him and knowing I couldn't breathe....and thinking how stupid I had been to let my life only to amount to that. I'm lucky to have another chance. I won't waste it. :)
