I don't know if it's a common thing, but I have seen one use the Internet to look up an address on Mapquest.

Yes I know many nuns who are faculty in schools , colleges who use the net. Maybe the cloistered nuns dont.

Yes some do, I have an aunt by marriage she is in her eighties and emails us all the time.

Possibly, they have computers, so you never know. Don't suppose they go on Y/A though.
