Knitting is my religion.

I set up a place to knit where I invite others to learn the craft.

It is great because there are no hard and fast rules except to knit and to purl, everything else is optional.

Non-denominational Christian. I have a personal relationship with my Father, Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I do not criticize or condemn anyone on here for their beliefs-they're entitled to their own beliefs and opinions !

I will answer your question based on what I know you mean but not based on the meaning of your words.

There are probably more who call themselves Muslim than Christian and vastly more of those two than Jewish. The number of Buddhist represent a huge number too based on the number of people in Asia who still follow it. Hindu too is mostly Indian but I do not believe it is larger than Christianity.

All of those mentioned are Religions. That means a codified set of rules for those seeking God.

For instance: Muslims believe to follow their god, you must pray five times a day to Mecca and not eat certain foods and kill those who do not follow Mohammad exactly the way you do.

Judaism also has a group of rules which start with men having to be circumcised. A man who is not so "snipped" cannot find God. They also have similar food restrictions. They do NOT advocate killing those who do not accept their God. And don't forget the "BIG TEN".

Buddhism is more peaceful but it says you ARE god or that, at birth, god lived within you, just as he lives within living thing on earth. This is similar to the Hindi religion.

The Hindus see god in all living things and thus refrain from killing and eating meat. The don't mind killing other humans who do not seek god the same way they do but ... let's not quibble. The point is, you have to DO certain things to "see" god.

Christianity is different. It is a FAITH system which teaches that, through Jesus, reached out to find man. Man was lost to the evils of the world and God wanted to save man from this lost state so He sent his Son to die (pay the price for the sin of man). If you believe this is true then you are given safe-passage from this life to the next (spiritual life). IF you believe this and accept it as FACT it is exciting to think God came to earth to walk among men and to suffer and die for His creation. Thus you will want to tell other people of this miricle so they too can be saved (spiritually). That's it. The Ten Commandments were written for the JEWISH religion. They do not apply to Christianity ... AS A MEANS TO BE SAVED. You cannot adhere to the "Big Ten" and reject Jesus (God) and get to heaven. In other words, you cannot DO anything to get to heaven beyond believing in the divinity of Jesus Christ. The things you do in His name are because you love Him (Jesus) and want to show Him to others but it is NOT a way to be saved.

Jesus gave two great Commandments: Love God with all you heart, mind and spirit and your neighbor as yourself. That's it. No huge set of rules to follow. But if you follow these two you will live in peace and happiness and will be following all the other "rules" ever written.

The above are very very simple explanations of each Religion. Volumes of book have been written to explain them all.

EVERYONE GETS TO TEST THEIR OWN THEORY. EVERYONE!

Good luck.
