You have to work here and pay into the system first before you can draw on it. Why don' t you do it legally and immigrate and become a citizen like the rest of us have done. It's not fair to come here and drain the system when you haven't earned it and don't intend to become a citizen. I should know, I came from England my self. If you did come here on a social visit, you would not be able to get a job without a work permit and you would have to apply for that. Are you getting your social security there. I know that here and there it is based on how much you have worked and payed into the system. If you earned it in england and you come here you can have it sent to you from england.

First you run back to your country and then you go to a border and try to do it the legal way.Unless you do that there are no legal ways to get a Social Security card ,but that never seems to stop the illegals when you have 50 of them using the same card numbers.
I'm using my vote in mid term election and 2008 to vote for the people with the best plan to stop illegal immigration .I will support any one that stops this illegal tidal wave.Close the borders ,identify, locate and deport all illegals.

Return home. Apply for a work permit or residency visa. When that's issued, come on back over!

Keep in mind that the Social Security taxes on your wages if on a work permit will be credited back to your home country, not the US SS system. The only way to get on the "system" is either with a green card or by becoming a naturalized citizen.

You mean illegally?

Don't.

I'm pretty sure there are fewer jobs for illegals now, as well. Even baggers at LA grocery stores are now teenagers not Hispanic. I didn't assume the Hispanics were illegally here (we have a lot of Hispanics in LA) but the difference over the last couple of months is almost startling. I suspect employers are being more careful given the prison time the government has started handing to employers.

you can apply for a SSN if you apply for a driver license.
so first go to the license department and ask them a form. with this form go to a SSN office and will give you a number.

it is not anymore a number but some letters.
with this u can maybe work illegaly.

as to stay longer in the USA or over passed ur visa, i would suggest to change visa when u are in the USA, or parc u car illegaly and get a 5$ ticket.

then make opposition and ask to see a judge.this can take 3-6 months, and legally u can stay in the USA because u broke the law, ...

you have to have a specific visa to enable you to get a visa... it have to be an immigrant visa and not a visitor visa.... otherwise you will be unable to obtain a social security card, because you are illegible to work.... if you are on a student visa or scholar visa this is not an immigrant visa, but you are eligible to get a social security for non-work purposes (and it will say so - 'not authorized to work without DHS approval').... but if you are just on a social visit you are not eligible to this either.....you may get a tax payer number which is the same as a social for paying a home purpose or car etc.... but you can not work on it etc.....through the irs.... you would need to prove you need it for a reason like buying a home or car..... but you are not allowed to get a social for any reason.... you really do not need one for just over staying your visit.... but you should also be careful not to overstay your visit too long, as you will be out of status on your visa and can get deported.....

Just go to the SS office and tell them that you are an ILLEGAL alien and that they OWE you benefits and you will surely get them, whereas and American citizen can't! Then go to the welfare office and tell them that you are ILLEGAL and that they OWE you welfare, food stamps, and medical! Then take your kids to an American school and tell them that they OWE your child a free education in their own language!

Isn't that the mentality of you people?
