In my experience the answer is 'Yes, they do'. I have a devout Catholic friend who used to live, with her husband and children, in a very old house in the UK. She swears to this day that she once saw the ghost of a man in one of the rooms, not a fleeting glimpse, but for a good minute or more. The thing that still amazes her is that she felt no fear.

As a Born-Again-Christian, I believe in the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit as we know Him as. I do however agree with one or two of your answers from Christians. Read Ephesians 6 and you will see that we do battle against the powers of darkness. Satan would let you believe in little green men from Mars, than the Christ who died on Calvary, for you and me.
If you want to seek the truth about ghosts just read the Bible with an open mind and ask the Holy Spirit to explain the things you may not understand. It's only the way to the truth. By the way "Cor Blimey, means God Blind Me" a phrase you really shouldn't accept, because satan loves it when he see's people respond like that. He is a mighty foe, but Praise The Lord, God is Almighty!

Yes, particularly important is that Jesus even mentions ghosts in Luke: 24: 36 & 39. Also, at one point the apostles see Jesus during a storm and think that a ghost is approaching them (Matthew 14: 26).

Jesus' disciples thought he was a ghost when he approached them walking on the water. Infact Jesus himself referred to ghosts, Luke 24:39 "Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have." This would suggest that a ghost is a spiritual being.
Generally Christians do not believe that human spirits exist in this earthly realm after physical death. Hebrews 9:27 "Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, .."
However Christians do believe that we are surrounded by spiritual beings - angels and evil spirits. The fact that ghosts are often associated with cold, fear, darkness, night and lonely places may well suggest that they are infact evil spirits.

I believe in evil spirits and demons, what is this human fascination with Ghosts.
Ghosts are watered down references to the evil in the world, all spoken about in the bible.

Not ones who really know their bibles. People in the bible are never haunted by ghosts. There are demons but these are clearly different entities. People are in heaven or hell not wandering earth as the undead or whatever you want to call them
