I grew up eating it when it was a 'seasonal' fruit, meaning twice a year. Now they are are so scientific and so sucessful in the breeding of the fruit, I practically OD'd on it. Haven't had it in 6 years. LOL

This month i ate it at least 6 times. 5 seeds each time.. A record breaking for me.. I love the taste however the smell is 90% tolerable

the candy i can take. the ice cream i haven't tried. the fruit smells like hell but i can tolerate it. ive smelled things which are worse like preserved cat. anyway, the fruit ive tasted it, just a small bit and it's not particularly my type. i wouldn't say i'd love eating it again because i don't think i will ever love eating it. it's sooo SLIMY. the cons far outweigh the pros. LOL. ill stick with the candy.

yes unusual from the smell point of view,but to eat its just divine(had it at the Bejing Hotel in Singapore.....served up as custard yummmmmy.......
