it boils down to the earning capabilities and opportunities.

have you thought that perhaps the range that suffers most are the in-betweens? obviously those who earn a lot has no financially problems and those who earn very little are somewhat very used to it. Those who earn just enough to cover expenses each month with little or no savings suffer more in the long term.

Well as long as there are people, this sort of thing is unavoidable coz some people always think that they are a higher class than the rest of them. This problem doesn't relate to people who earn more than others or less than others. This is more of the mindset of individual and not of salary of individual

There is "discrimination" everywhere against people who have little money (try registering at an expensive hotel with no money) and for people who have a lot of money.
