Once you are in Thailand try Singha Beer & Chang Beer. They are many people's favorite for both local and visitors from oversea. It's worth to try.

I'll second the votes for Tsingtao and Singha. Those are very nice.

My current everyday beer is Tremblay, a nice drinkable lager from Quebec; I also like Brick beer from Toronto which comes in stubby bottles. Big Rock from Alberta is great and widely available, if you have not tried Big Rock Traditional Ale you have not lived.

Duval, a strong Belgian beer. About 8% by vol, I think. Frothy, slightly fruity and very refreshing when Ice cold. Produces a big white head too. nice colour and aroma. Only available in small bottles sadly, I think.

Guinness and Erdinger.

James Boag is quite nice though I have not tried the draught. We only have bottled ones here. Really can't drink from the bottle. Taste a whole lot better when poured into a glass.
