Basicly Adam was creadted "in God's image" not with his mind. Jesus was in on the knowledge of god.

Adam is son #1, Noah is Son #10, Abraham is son #20, David is son #14 Ruth 4:18-21; 1Chr.3:9-17; after Abraham Matt.1:1-17; Jesus was #62 after Adam in the genealogy.
John 17:3,5,24; Jesus was with God before the world was. So he and Adam were surely first, one in heaven, one on earth. Adam lost everything, Jesus qualifies to be savior of all lost.

Let me try to explain as best I can.
Those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Adam was the first man created in the image of God. Jesus is the Word through which all was created.
Jesus existed from the beginning with God. Don't know if I'm making sense to you, though.
Jesus is the Son of God.

God did not say Adam is not His son. God said Jesus is His own dear Son, with whom He is well pleased.

Its because thats how they wrote that particular fairy story. (It is all pretent)
You could write your own version where adam is the son of god.
People make up new "religions" all the time (they are also crazy)
If you do write your own version, make sure you have got plenty of magic, superstition and hearsay.. threats of going to hell for not obeying the great sky daddy etc, liberally intersperced in the story, this makes for a longer lasting religion

This question is targeted to the Christians; whom they believe Jesus is the son of God.

So since God created us all we are his children, but Jesus was a part of God so he was God's son.
