"Mary did give birth to Jesus, although she was a virgin. God made her pregnant so that is why Jesus is God's son."
God made her pregnant doesn't mean Jesus is the God son otherwise Adam and Eve would be the God or the God Son.
and don't forget that the bible was wrote so long time after Jesus by people got a lot of benefits and power by the name of God

Yes he was born of Mary after she was visited by an angel who told her that she would bear a son and that the Holy Spirit would come upon her and there you have the Son of God. It was called the virgin birth as Mary was a virgin at the time of her engagement to Joseph. Joseph was angry when he found out that she was to have a son, when she told him about the angel and that she would become the Mother of God (Jesus) Joseph became Jesus' stepfather. According to the Bible, Jesus was sent by God to represent God on earth. Some say he was a prophet, personally I believe he is the Messiah. So to finish; Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist in the river Jordan and as he was baptized a dove came down from heaven and a voice was heard saying "this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased" the voice was God's.

"The Quran also says that those who believe Jesus IS God will be punished, Surah 5:17" - That's what the Quran says. The Quran says that Jesus is not son of God but only a prophet.
But the Bible, in the New Testament, says that Jesus is the son of God. Read the Bible and seek the truth. I will pray for you.
No doubt Jesus was the son of Mary and Joseph, but it is by virgin birth. Jesus is God's son who came to earth in the form of human through Mary's womb.
Matthew 27:54
When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, "Surely he was the Son of God!"
Mark 1:1
The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Mark 5:7
He shouted at the top of his voice, "What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Swear to God that you won't torture me!"
John 11:4
When he heard this, Jesus said, "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it."
AND CONTRARY TO WHAT YOU SAID THAT believing Jesus brings death, read THIS :
John 20:31
But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
JESUS is the ONLY way for ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Joseph fathered him just Mary mothered Joseph's kids from before they were married. Jesus is Mary's son....she had given birth to him but God put the bun in her oven. Joseph was a father figure to Jesus. And Jesus is God's son and has the same power as God. He's God in the flesh. That's why Christians believe in God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost.

The God of the Bible is said to have created man in His own image and likeness and this makes the God of the Bible like a man, somewhere in the sky, and the only God in the Bible that is a man in the sky is Zeus (see Acts of the Apostles 14:12-13)
Allah, The Only True God of the Quran, is One, He begets not and is not begotten and there is nothing like Him, which means that we have nothing to compare with Allah and we cannot even imagine what Allah is like.
The God of the Bible therefore is not the same with the God, Allah, of the Quran.
The Old Testament does not give the Messiah a father of any sort, but the Gospels make of him a pagan God whose father is Zeus but whose mother was supposed to be the wife of Joseph who was a dreamer, like all good stories from Greek mythology.
The Quran makes no mention of Jesus and names the Messiah or Christ, Isa, which name cannot be translated to Jesus in any language. The Quran you have read is a false translation of the Quran and is not The Quran.
You cannot mix Islam with Christianity for Islam is monotheistic and Christianity is polytheistic or trinitheistic.
Sikhism was an attempt to mix polyhteistic Hinduism with Islam to the Indians just as Christianity was an attempt to mix the Islam of the Children of Israel with pagan worship of Zeus the Sun God in the Roman Empire, and monotheism and polythiesm or trinitheism are like oil and water and do not mix.
So you should avoid mixing your Islam with your Christianity or you may go insane trying to work it out like any other Christian who tries to work out Christianity. Islam is for Muslims and Christianity is for pagans.

Your first mistake is believing the lies muhammed put in the quran. It is completely full of holes. Their allah is NOT the same as the One True God, but was one of 360 idols in a trash heap that muhammed found (pagan religion) and used to get the people to rally and fight with him. What's worse is that muhammed fails so many tests of actually being a prophet it's not funny. Jesus was born from the virgin Mary and as stated in God's Word, is God's only begotten Son. Jesus is God's son in that He came to bring the message of the nature of God to the world through what He said and especially by what He did, in taking on the hatred of the world because He could only love.
What does your heart tell you about what to believe? Follow that.
May your heart be a heart of love for God - demonstrated through true compassion for your fellow man.

If u have faith in the Holy Bible and actually read it you will see that Jesus's presence actually predates Mary's or Joseph's. "Let Us Make Man In Our Own Image". "The Word was made flesh and dwelled among us."
He started out a spirit being like the Father and was made flesh according to the Bible. In order to become flesh he came through a flesh and blood person...thus the immaculate conception.

The Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, so that makes Him God's son. Joseph raised Jesus as his own, but he wasn't his biological child.
