not Genealogy. All in all, I'm pretty average for a genealogist. We're all witty, literate and devilishly handsome. I'd say 150 to 200.

Well we have quite a few genuises here! Just imagine only 1 in 400 have IQ's around 140 to 145, and it is amazing how many of you with this level (or above) of intellegence answered this question!
High IQ & Genius IQ
Genius IQ is generally considered to begin around 140 to 145, representing ~.25% of the population (1 in 400). Here's a rough guide:
* 115-124 - Above average (e.g., university students)
* 125-134 - Gifted (e.g., post-graduate students)
* 135-144 - Highly gifted (e.g., intellectuals)
* 145-154 - Genius (e.g., professors)
* 155-164 - Genius (e.g., Nobel Prize winners)
* 165-179 - High genius
* 180-200 - Highest genius
* >200 - "Unmeasurable genius"

I find it REALLY hard to believe that every person on here is well over 100.
By definition the "average" IQ is 100. And given the retarded answers I see on Yahoo! Answers everyday, I seriously doubt that 100% of this question's answerers are highly-advanced or above average geniuses.
Good to know those Internet quizzes are boosting the self-esteem of the general population.

The last test I took, granted that was 8 years ago said that my IQ was 127. It's most likely gone down since then. Construction will do that to you.
