There had to be a way to multiply the earth, or else you would not be here. Even though it's not mentioned in text, it's common sense that Adam and Eve must of had more kids, during the time Cain and Able was living. If every detail was mentioned in the Bible, then it would be like a billion pages long!
And wait! How about evolution.... :^D People pop up as Apes right?? So, how did they multiply? Since today we have families, I'm sure there must have been a first family of apes to get it on or something.
I'd rather be created by God, than come from worthless slime and to be called an ape. Besides that, who created the rocks in the so-called "Big Bang", who created the Universe?, Who created the slime? Well, I'd be a monkey's stepchild!...how did the fish, jump to be a monkey! lol.
Impossible!
Well, the bible says, In the begginning God created the heaven and the earth....and heavens meaning the universe. In the bible, God says...he's the very first and the last....and he's pretty clear about that my friend :O)

In fact they had 2 sons, but after Cain killed Abel, God said he would "replace" Abel and the came Seth... They also had others... But as far as Cain, the Bible does say clearly that he was banished and sent away... and later he MET his wife.... So, it was not Eve...., but no, it's true, we have no idea where Cain's wife comes from.... I was once told by a priest that it was one of his sisters..., but to me, that would mean at least 15 years or more difference... would he have waited 15 years alone?? That's why some people think that there were other created besides Adam & Eve... They were the first ones, but possibly not the ONLY ones... The Bible never sais that they were the ONLY ones created... just the first ones...

Christianity doesn't support or accept incest at any cost. so there is no point in arguing in that sense.
That story is drawn to tell that You should obey and respect the rules and regulations defined in the bible.
See the Adam and Eve are the only people who blessed and enjoying the Eden garden, They got into trouble only after eating the apple. so if you violate any rules will definitely get the punishment.

I've wondered about that myself. Cain killed Abel. So Eve was still the only female in the picture. Where did Cain get his wife?
And if they had other children, still, where did they get their mates? Is incest not prohibited in the Bible?
And if they had other children, and it is not recorded in the Bible, then how does anyone know that? Where is that information coming from?
If you get it figured out, tell me, "Did Adam and Eve have navels?"

please don't take genesis literally.
i would advise you to actually read the book before framing future questions, as Adam and Eve did have other children by the way.
the fundamental problems you insinuate have already been discussed and the solution or meaning of the scripture is interpreted to be of a less literal kind.

Because by 'sons' the Bible is referring to actual 'suns' a.k.a. 'stars' in the night sky. And we all know that when stars go supernova they create a 'period' of cosmic aftermath therefore must have been female because males do not have 'periods'. Read your Bible.

If you read a little further it mentions they had other children later. What really doesn't make sense is who did Cain marry?

Adam and Even had other children, please read your Bible. Cain married his sister, there really is no other solution. Incest was not declared sin for two thousand years later.
