regarding 10... the reference to "tilth" or field as you put it.

A farmer puts "seed" in the ground and that in time yields fruits. similarly a man puts his seed in a women and in time yields a baby. its metaphoric for insemination, but then again you didn't think that deep it has chosen to be metaphoric out of modesty.

regarding 9.)

That degree is attributed to being maintainers(financially) and protectors(wars) of women and so their rights due to their responsiblity is a degree more. Not because of an inherent deficiency in woman as is attributed to the bible ...."woman are not in the image of god, but the man is" nowhere in the quran will you find that

First off let me mention I am surprised it doesn't bother you that the bible dictates that women are not to inherit when there is a man.

As for the issue of it being half is because..

A men is mandated to provide for his family including wife (food, housing, expenses). whereas what a women possess is for the women only. a man has no share in what his woman earns. So the reason a man inherits more is because he has more financial burden.

regarding 6) The issue of remarrying is due to the fact that some man used to abuse their women by divorcing them and then taking them back.. and they use to keep repeating that. so to stop that a woman cannot be taken back after the third divorce.


Regarding 5) First there are not sexual property.. There is a verse that states that if they desire chastity it is forbidden on you. So it has to be concentual. Now in islam if a slave bears the child of her master then they are considered free. they have rights of inheritance just as the wives and so do the children. The slave girl can no longer be bought and sold in effect she is free.

Now in christianity if a man kills his slave and he dies in 2 days its ok coz its his property and you are bringing this up.

Regarding 4) What you need to explain is why is it .. judaism permits polygamy, and not only that Abraham.. the great prophet he was had 3 wives according to the bible. That surah is about divorce.. that one should measure their periods of the women you are going to divorce so that you are sure they are not pregnant. and as for the one who doesn't have puberty is referring to older women past puberty. The period is a time of reconciliation and ascertaining that a women is not pregnant.

"Such of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the prescribed period, if ye have any doubts, is three months, and for those who have no courses (it is the same): for those who carry (life within their wombs), their period is until they deliver their burdens: and for those who fear Allah, He will make their path easy."

Let me translate for you:

Husband can goto his wife for sex whenever he likes but he can only "be with her" if she wants to and vice versa. He cannot rape her if thats what your implying here.


Husbands are a degree "above" their wifes in the sense they are the man of the house and the main provider.

The reason a man gets more than a woman in inheritance from his family is because women are married off and have their husbands to provide for them. So since men get married and have to provide for their families, they get more because they are in need of more.

This is the shortest and easiest way of explaining your question.

i am a woman, even though i am not muslim. but i know that in islam, women are to be treated very well by their husband. husband are supposed to provide love, clothes, money, emotionally and spiritually for their woman. i have a muslim boyfriend, and i am being treated even better than a queen.

JasonLee! I travelled to some moslim countries with moslim friends. what grasped my attention is that I didn't found women in mean hard jobs out there. Only minority of women have to work for living. besides, I didn't found women flesh for rent or money in shops or on street corners dispaying their dignity for cheap money with total strangers as the case in EU or USA .etc., this I must admit.
