It's the same old story, they charge more and more for less and less.

It's the same with the Council Tax, they charge more and more and there are always service cuts.

I think they are just getting lazy. And I also think they are employing only the worst posties. My best friend was a temp posty and they wouldn't keep him on. He was efficient. He had his entire round done no later than 2pm, including all the depot stuff at the end of deliveries. So it's probably because they're fools or something.
Our post gets here any time between 11am and 4pm. It used to arrive between 7 and 8am.

When I asked about this at the postal office I was told that they had to cut routes so carriers had more to deliver. They did offer an option, pay to rent a post office box so I could get my mail by 10 am. I think they are doing this on purpose just to make extra money off people who fall for the sales pitch.

I'm lucky if mine arrives by 3 pm, so consider yourself on the lucky side.

Poor service. My mail used to arrive by 11AM. Now it is closer to 1:30. I have to leave for work at 2 and there have been a few days when it isn't here yet. That means it sits in the box until I get home at 11 at night and I hate that.

Because more people, more post to deliver, and rising costs of labour and fuel. You either get fewer postmen or more expensive postage, or a little of both, and people complain whatever you do. My post arrives at about midday but since I am at work anyway I can't get it until I come home at 7 anyway. It doesn't make any difference to me.

They now employ fewer people and the postman has to do a longer round, delivering to businesses first.
