i live with my parents in a flat on the first floor. i like the guy that lives in the next entrance of our house. he's never seen me and doesn't know. whole my family knows his family, but nobody knows his name, and my family doesn't talk much to his parents. i've noticed him because he keeps leaving his car in front of my window. should i do anything? in russia it's not often when girls come up first. what do you think should be done not only by me, but also maybe by somebody else. well, give an advice. And what should i do or say so that he likes me? P.S. he's 20, i'm 18.the point is that it's russia, it's not usual here for girls to make the first move. and also, how should a girl behave in the conversation with a man? P.P.S. i'm perhaps too shy to make the fist move, and bumpin inot him won't really work, coz there's too much space around.

well then give him a hint you like him if he likes you he'll get it and ask you out. but men are blind and they probably wont get it that quick so make it pretty obvious. or you can use my method tell him do you like anyone if he says no then move on. if he says yes then say is it someone i no. if he says no then forget it. if he says im not gonna answer that then its definitely you. if he says yes then say i'll tell you who i like if you tell me who you like. if hes getting annoyed then he doesnt like you. if he says he cant tell you then its you but just in case keep bugging him. if he says its you dont show how excited you are just stay cool. if he says its not you then move on also dont show how upset you are.

This is not just a problem in Russia, young woman, but all over. Very few women have the confidence, or the desperation to make first moves. You don't have much testosterone, which is the key ingredient.
Russians are very smart people, I believe, with a wonderful culture. Invite him over for a few games of chess. You know how the game ends--someone gets mated!!

As for girls making the first move - they don't do it here in the US either, but they are really bitchy here too, so you guys are still better.

my dear, we in india face the same problem. here the girls are not confident enough to do such things. we boys cant make such initial moves because here it is somewhat difficult to talk/write abt such issues. its like a taboo. i wish i were born somewhere else.
