No, I don't fear Hell at all because I know I'm going to Heaven. The Bible states that when you become a Christian, when you trust Christ, you are "sealed with the Holy Spirit...a deposit guaranteeing your inheritance." In other words, it's a gift that cannot be revoked. Heaven is guaranteed for believers; I'm a believer in and follower of Christ. No need to fear Hell.

yes, because as much as i've studied and learned over the years, i still find myself doing stupid things, which is basically like i never learned anything at all.
i don't fear hell - i'm just aware that there is a shift happening and God is looking for those in the program, and i'm trying my best to learn and understand and hopefully help enact that passage.
Also, hell is a seperation from God. But once judgement is done, it is the lake of fire where those souls who don't make it are snuffed out - not tortured and roasted for eternity.
all you can do is try your best and hope you make it. i do know i wouldn't want to live an existence without God, so for me not making it into the Light would be hell anyway, in which case i'd rather get snuffed out. it's merciful.

There's a difference between Catholics and Protestants most Protestants say I'm saved and that means they will go to heaven no matter how much they sin or how evil they are this is plainly wrong, the Catholic Church teaches we cannot be sure we'll go to heaven just because you believe in Jesus, that depends on if you will avoid mortal sin this is clear from the gospels not everyone who says Lord Lord will enter heaven but only those who do the will of my Father.
So it's clear to get to heaven you must believe and also do the will of God. This can be a healthy fear for hell.

Claiming to be Christian means nothing. Christ said the FEARFUL and UNBELIEVING will have thier part in the Lake of
Fire. Fear and unbelief both stem from guilt. Because of the way people treat others. If we treat others right, as best we can. There is no guilt.

I use to, then I stumbled across a theology book my father had(he has thousands) called "the future life" or something similar. It basically quoted biblical verses that stated if you believe in Christ, and want to be forgiven or your sins, you will be forgiven, and you will get to heaven. Heaven is a free gift, something tossed in on the side, it's God's love that draws me now. I used to follow God because I wanted to escape hell, but now, His love is more important to me, and I'd rather be in hell with His love, than in heaven without.
So, no, I don't fear I will go to hell. If you believe in Christ(or want to believe) and you want your sins forgiven, you'll go to heaven. At least... while heaven still exists. You do know heaven is not eternal? After Jesus' second coming, He'll establish a kingdom on earth that'll last for a thousand years. Then there'll be the second judgment, and "heaven and earth will become as one" and His heaven/earth kingdom will then last for eternity.

I fear Hell!! It's being in volcantic lava fire forever and ever! If we don't fear this place, we won't have motivation to live everyday obeying the Lord.
Jesus actually tells us to fear the living God and Hell,
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in HELL.
Matthew 10:28
Think about this, if you were put in a situation with a terriorist, and he says, "Are you a Christian?!!" with a dull blade in his hand. Will you deny being a Christian? Because if you do..Jesus will deny you infront of everyone in heaven.
Jesus says in Luke 12:8-9:
8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: 9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
Jesus says this in Mark 8:38,
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

According to the teachings of the church if you sin and confess then you will be allowed to go to heaven. If this is true then even the most hardened criminals can lie on their death bed and ask god for forgiveness. Kind of sucks for the people who try to do the right thing day in and day out only to get snubbed by someone that killed 20 people at a fast food joint.
That's the Catholic church for you, more loopholes than a US Senate budget meeting.

Some think they are above the Hell, but some are mistaken. I'm just being honest now, the Lord will put me where he wants. What control do we have over that? Trying to be something you are not is a lie.

Didn't you ask this yesterday? If there's a Hell, the only people who are going are those who judge others. In other words, 75% of the Christians I know....

i believe as a christian i will be judged for all my actions and i am hopeing that my love for Jesus and God will save my soul from eternal hell. i would love to go inside the kingdom of heaven and visit my loved ones. that would truely be a blessing.
