Oldguy has a good point. I just want to put a logical perspective on it rather than a biblical.

If god answers a prayer then he destories freewill. If god does mericals he destories freewill. If god reveals himself he destories freewill. The bible claims he does all of these things. How can you be a christian and claim to have a freewill?

Good reason to have doubts about it, it isn't taught in the Bible. It is mostly based on the idea that we feel like we are making decisions but behind the scenes the Bible says, "God does according to His will in the armies of the heavens and among the inhabitants of the earth and no one can stay His hand."
