£7.95 and its crap! Shrivelled up peas, dry lemon & crap batter.
Pub food has improved so much over the past few years, yet my local opened just a few months ago & owned by a big chain brewery fails on so many levels!
Apparently its a 'food' pub but I have had most of the menu and its bland and badly prepared to say the least.
Thank god they serve beer, but don't start me on that thats a completely different rant!

Devon - £7.00, but you get a massive portion and salad and big plates, my father and I love it. You can get fish and chips for £4.50 in proper shops.
Of course, we have fresh fish and its all chunky and yummy

At my local it is about 6 pounds, but the chippy over the road sells them for 2.70!
