My Aunt has cancer, they expect her to die in the next week. Anyway, when she dies, my cousin can either stay at the house with her step dad or go live with her grandma. I personally dont think she will stay with her step dad. I really dont think she wants live her grandma either. Yeah, i mean i'm not her so i dont know what she wants. Anyway, I am homeschooled, and shes told me before how i'm lucky and how she'd love to be homeschooled. So I was wondering, do u think i should ask my parents if she can live with us and be homeschooled? and if they say yes, ask her if she would like that. What do you think?

If your parents say yes, that's cool. But if she starts to dress like you and act like you and jokes around with your boyfriend way more than she should, then watch your back.

I think your cousin is very lucky to have you, YES, ask your parents if they are willing to take her into their home, but as MY Mom always said, Hope For The Best, Prepare For The Worse.......so consider they might say no, and I'm very sorry about your Aunt, losing a parent must be very hard on your cousin, no matter how this turns out, go on loving and supporting her. You sound like a terrific young person.

By all means, ask your parents.

If your cousin is willing to stay with you and your parents are all right with that, have your cousin tell your aunt that's what she would like to do.

All your aunt wants is for your cousin to be loved and protected. And if your family is willing to step in and help, there shouldn't be any problems, legally.

Family is a very powerful thing, and your cousin is very lucky to have family who cares for her.

Please accept my sympathies on your aunt's condition.

Yes, go for it. More than be homeschooled, which is not the important thing here. She is going to need a friend and living with someone more her age will be great for her........and you too. She's going to need you.

It is nice you have asked advice. But I don't think it will work out. But what is the harm in asking and see if it will be possible. There will be many other issues in that. Go ahead. Best of luck.
