(razor blades with white residue, straws) She has lost weight and has no appetite. I asked her probation officer to test her and he gave her an EMIT test and she PASSED! How is this possible? I have researched this and found nothing. Can anyone help?

With the evidence you've already found, I would think you already know the answer to your own question. There are various way's to beat a drug test, I wouldn't believe a clean test over what you can see for yourself.
I wish that I could say something that would be able to help you, but I know from experience that only your daughter will be able to stop herself. I'm sorry, really very very sorry that you have to go through this. I prey that your daughters will is strong, that she comes through.

Hmm...I have always heard that cocaine is one of the quickest drugs to leave you're system. It isn't absorbed by fatty tissue. Therefore, it is out of the system in about 2-3 days. So perhaps, you didn't conduct a drug test around the time your daughter was using.
Cocaine is an expensive drug, and it's not always available. So maybe your daughter doesn't use it everyday if she does at all. But, nevermind that.
You should sit down and try to have a conversation with her. She is most likely going through some things and needs some love, help and support. Your probably loosing her trust with her because she may see your efforts to find her out as attacks. By the way, if she has been doing dope for any time at all, she knows how to fool a probation officer's drug test.
Sit down and talk! She may be way in over her head, and she needs your help as a mother.

Cocaine only stays in the system for a drug test for 3 days (saliva and urine test, hair follicle test [the most expensive of the three, usually over $300] can detect it past a week, though). The best bet would be to take the drug paraphernalia down to the local police station and ask them to test it for coke. If it comes back possitive, then you know.
If it does turn out she has been doing coke, enroll her in rehab ASAP. If she is under 16 I don't think she has a choice to enter or not (totally up to you).

Well how about asking her. But short of that. There is not much you can do except be ready for the call from the hospital and be there when they call. Or you can do the tough love bit. Put her in a rehab center. Why not you both try going to counseling and getting help. Maybe the whole family. You daughter has some issues to deal with, she needs your help. Do as much as you can, it is not easy to cure her. She has a mental problem about her life so you need to find out what it is. Good Luck

It is fairly easy to pass a drug test, even on short notice. Cocaine flushes out of the system pretty quickly as well. As far as your daughter is concerned, I would suggest getting her help ASAP as recreational cocaine use can quickly turn into a terrible addiction. Good luck.

You have two different problems.
1. Your daughter is already on probation.
and
2. You are letting the behavior continue.
For number 1: I don't care what test the PO gave her...take her to a well-established drug screening center (or to her family doctor) for a screening of every drug.
As for number 2: HELLO! You are the parent, right? have you confronted her? Threatened her with a drug rehab center? Tough love, Mom. You are only condoning her behavior, and this is one baaad road she is on. If you don't intervene now, she will begin stealing (if she hasn't already), bacome malnurished and sickly, and become involved with petty crime.
Time for an INTERVENTION, Mom! Buck up and take control. Sheesh.

When did she get tested after usage? I have been told that it takes tops three days to leave body's system.
If her eyeballs are bulging out, she talks a lot, stays up a lot at night, and drinks with all this, takes xanax or some form of downer, muscle relaxer, etc.

first off most of the tests that probation officers give do not give acturate results....and it is easy for someone to bring in someone elses urine to pass a drug test....the only true measure is either a blood test...or a hair sample test that can actually tell approxiamately how long ago someone used drugs.

You know how I can tell. It's kind of disgusting but lick your daughters nose. If you have done cocaine you will be able to taste that distinct bitter taste.

I think by the sounds of it, she's doing it. She probably doesnt want you to confront her about it but you need to show her that you are on to her. Dont allow her to mix with the friends she spends time with. They are probably doing it too & meeting them will want her to do the coke more. Also be with her & show her that you beed her as a daughter.
