War is business. Gives countries an excuse to use the ammunitions and missiles that are approaching their "use by" date.

Gives governments the excuse to have more budget to replenish their armament.

Companies producing war equipment also encourage war to boost their sales.

Some wars can be good, some revolutions, some civil wars. Sometimes democracy needs a kick in the pants. And Napolean and Hitler probably needed to be killed.

But not usually.

I think the fight over Isreal is stupid. I don't understand why Jews and Arabs can't get along. Saying "it goes back centuries" is not an answer. Because the Jews won't accept Muhammed as a prophet? Is that it?

People of all religions and ethnic backgrounds live together in the United States, most of the time peacefully. Sure, some parts are more small minded than others, but overall it works.

War is one nation or more fighting one nation or more. War has been with Man ever since Adam and Eve had enough kids to support a war. There have always been nations rising against nations. In the case of Israel, the Arab countries and Persian countries think that Israel should be eradicated. There should be no Israel. They are the aggressors. Israel defends itself with an aggression that often surpasses their enemy. Arabs and Persians are clueless, because they feel they are right in attacking Israel and fervently praying for their demise, and don't seem to realize if they would just stop, the war would end. They turn a blind eye to such a simple solution. The truth is they don't want to stop, and justify it by a whole list of Israeli wrongs, yada, yada, yada. They are like the typical sociopath that hurts others but only sees when others hurt them. So in their minds, they keep hurting others BECAUSE others hurt them. The sociopath is at fault, but you could never convince him. That is the Israeli conflict when you strip all the BS away.

War doesnt do anyone any good. Two Israeli soldiers ventured into Lebanese territory and got nabbed. Bush and Olmert both have made fools of themselves and degraded US in eyes of many nations and people, particularly after their latest Lebanon war. US has lost its diplomatic persuasion with most of the Arab countries. What have they accomplished after killing so many innocent civilians including children ( Israelis and Lebanese ) and devastating a beautiful country ? To ensure an effective defence, which most of the Arab armies are incapable of doing, Lebanon should induct all the Hezbollah fighters into the Lebanese army. This may deter Israel from picking on Lebanon, which it has done 4 times uptill now. US is the dog which its tail, Israel, is capable of wagging through the strong Jewish lobby.

Firstly, I would like to clarify that I am not a war-monger & are oppose to wars & battles. I often regret the lost of innocent lives and suffering of the people. However, these are my personal impression of wars:

Wars are a method that world leaders use to keep the population in check. Wars and natural disasters are the fastest way of reducing an exploding population. However, one can never predict natural disaster, but can create war.

In addition, wars also helps to ensure the survival of certain economies of certain countries. With every war, monies will be spent on techonogy development, rations, medicines, aid, wages, ammunitions....etc etc. After every war there will be opportunties to re-construct the contries involve and jobs will be offered.

Wars and rumours of war have been around since the beginning of time. As a result our planet is writhing in pain like woman giving birth. Obviously war it is not working. The defininiton of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, yet expecting different results. I think the human race needs to go to "PLAN B"
Admit that we have been wrong, this is not a sign of weakness, because it is moral regeneration that is going to restore nations, not killing one another.

Looking ahead, war will be unprofitable, we're seeing that now. Technology has become available for all nations. Lack of education, coupled with false religion, creates countries like Iran, now, someone wants to war me. See, it's inevitable, we are not controlling things. Communication(not media, government) but, people talking to people, that is the war stopper. I don't really want to war, but my media, government says, ....................Don't you think Israel wants to live, breathe, work in peace, countries attack them because of religion. They fight back, get hounded by the UN, but the people are good. Screw the media, politics, government. A good buttered pecan ice cream is delicious, what is your favorite?
