Ex's rarely ever pay back money once the relationship has ended... then you have nothing to hold over their head to get reimbursement. If it's a large amount, consider small claims court and sue him for it. If it's a smaller amount, cut your losses and consider yourself better off!

Depends how much he owes you. If it's like a small amount, say $50, leave it alone. But if it's more, you might want to try taking him to small claims court (ie: People's Court or Judge Judy). Now here comes the tricky part: was it a loan? did he sign a statement that claims that he will pay you back? These are a few things that you might want to concern before filing in court. Check out People's Court on TV to see. Good luck!

If he's not an honourable guy, you think he's gonna pay you back?
Consider it as money you pay for a lesson learned and move on to the next chapter of your life with someone else.
The lesson you ought to learn is that in a relationship with your partner, it is difficult to consider money changing hands as loans, unless it has been properly (legally) documented on paper.
Once you forget about that and go on with your new life, you will be happier!

the best thing to do is to request him to pay back the money by writing to him reminding of the money he has taken. If he don't aspect than go to the lawyer

Ask him nicely. If that doesn't work...
Gather some evidence and haul his *** to court! If you don't have evidence, and it's a substancial amount of money, get your new boyfriend to "persuade" him to cough it up.
