For what you are looking for the answer is S.O.B.s (Sounds of Brazil) It's on Varrick St at the corner of Houston I think. Definatly Varrick. Nice place. Not fancy. Good food for a club. Give them a call a see what's up the night you're in town.

Pravda - 281 Lafayette between Houston and Price. Old speakeasy with loads of differnt vodkas, nice music and Russian finger food.
