Cheez, anaesthetist and anesthesiologist are the same thing.

You need to be a medical doctor; 4 years of premed, 4 years of medical school, 1 year intern and then finally finish your education off with four years of residency training

You might like to specialise further by doing a fellowship which usually only takes a year for most specialities - options include pain management, neuroanesthesiology, etc

Get the best possible grades - anesthesiologists are very academic. The exams are apparently very hard, surprisingly so, and many fail so you do need to score well... and then after all that training you can be my anesthesiologist.

An anesthesiologist is a physician who specializes in Anesthesiology. So the first step is going to medical school and getting an M.D. or D.O. degree. Check out http://www.studentdoc.com/medical-school-requirements.html for some info on prereqs. Most medical schools require at least a Bachelor's Degree in addition to specific coursework.

Are you in college? Do they have a medical school there or counselors? Contact the nearest medical school or a medical school that you will transfer to and ask them. They will know what are the classes for pre med and anesthesiology. Tons of chemistry I would imagine, and anatomy and physiology and certain math classes I am guessing. Check with a medical school.
